Early Life
Arinthia is the 2nd of five children born to Bradley and Jenniffer Braynen over-the-hill on Louis street. During her early days, she was raised in Fowler Street, Claridge Road, Ridgeland Park and sixth street in the Grove.
In 1989, Mrs. Komolafe moved with her parents to the Flamingo Gardens community where she lived until she got married in 2005. She was christened and baptised at St. John’s Native Baptist where she was an active member in the children and junior choirs as well as the Girls Brigade. She also attended St. John’s Native Baptist Pre-School, then known as the Mother Donaldson School.
Mrs. Komolafe attended Willard Patton Primary School in Bain and Grants Town, and then graduated from C.R. Walker Secondary School in 1997.
Post-High School
Mrs. Komolafe studied Accounting & Finance at the College of The Bahamas and the American Intercontinental University in London, England. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws LLB (Hons) from the University of Buckingham and completed postgraduate studies in Law at BPP Law School in London. She was called to the Bar of England & Wales and The Bahamas Bar in 2003 and is a member of the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. In the same year, she was licensed as a Notary Public. A Chartered Banker (MCBI), she obtained her MBA from Bangor University in the United Kingdom.
In addition to being an attorney for 20 years, Mrs. Komolafe is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (TEP) in the UK, a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Cryptoasset Anti-Financial Crime Specialist (CCAS), Certified Cryptocurrency Expert (CCE) and Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator (CCI). She has worked for several financial services institutions with offices based in The Bahamas and Switzerland while participating in working groups of the Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB).
Family
In 2005, Mrs. Komolafe married Emmanuel Komolafe who she met at the University of Buckingham, England in 2001. The pair worship at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican church and are proud parents of three children, Morgan Elizabeth, Alexandria Grace and Joshua Oluseyi.
